Number of Classes: 1

Target Audience: 14+

Workshop Description and Expected Outcome:

If you have an old, wool sweater that no longer gets worn but you just can't seem to get rid of, this class will teach you how to repurpose the material to a pair of cozy, warm mittens. Whether the sweater is yours, a grandparents, or a childs, if you can fit your two hands over it, you could have a pair!

Students will be shown how to size a pattern, cut the sweater, and sew the mittens with a liner.

Students are expected to know the basics of how to use a sewing machine.

You must bring a washed, tight knit, preferably wool sweater to this class.

Machine, thread, and lining material supplied.

If you would prefer to bring your own machine please make note in registration.

Cost of supplies included.
