Open studio at WAACC

Not quite ready to become a member but still eager to build on what you learned in class? Open Studio at the Wetaskiwin Allied Arts & Craft Centre (WAACC) gives you the time, space, and tools to keep creating at your own pace.

Whether you're refining a new skill or finishing a project you started in a workshop, Open Studio is your chance to stay inspired and keep your hands moving.

What Is Open Studio?

Open Studio is a relaxed, drop-in session where you can work independently in our shared studio space. During this time, you’ll have access to:

  • Studio workspaces

  • Equipment and tools

  • Storage space for current projects

  • A creative, supportive environment

A volunteer will be on site to collect payment and answer general questions about the studio.

Please note: Open Studio is not an instructional class. Participants should have prior experience through a WAACC class or hold a current membership.

Who Can Attend?

Open Studio is open to:

  • Current WAACC members

  • Anyone who has previously taken a class at WAACC

If you’re brand new to the studio, we recommend registering for a class first so you feel comfortable using the equipment and materials safely.

  • Sundays: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
